On the 3rd of March 2011, we have done the first experiment of our own idea for the Food Innovation and Design subject which is a project for our assessment. The idea is Soursop Pudding.
The objective of choosing the Soursop Pudding is ;
- To give new taste of pudding by using the Soursop.
- To be more Asiantic taste of pudding as Soursop is an Asian fruit.
- To have a different type of pudding from other pudding.
The ingredient of Soursop Pudding are as follow ;

* Sponge Cake
* Soursop

* Coconut milk 700ml
* Sugar 80gm
* Evaporated Milk 100ml
* Instant Agar-Agar 25ml
* Hoen Kwe Flour 85gm
* Coloring Agent (optional)
The methods are ;Agar-agar1. Soak agar-agar in water for about 10 minutes, meanwhile boil water in a saucepan.2. After boiling, put in agar-agar.3. Let the agar-agar dissolve and disintegrate in water.4. Add the Hoen Kwe Flour into the agar-agar. Divide into two ; for coloring ( Green and Yellow )Soursop1. Peel and cut the ripe Soursop.2. Blend in a blender.Custard1. Prepare custard in a bowl with water.2. At the same time, boil the coconut milk in a saucepan.3. Pour the Custard into the saucepan.4. Mix well. Add some sugar to taste.5. Mix until become thick.Structure of pudding ;1. In a water goblet, from bottom to top, place Soursop , strawberry filling, Sponge Cake, layer of pudding ( Green and Yellow ) , Strawberry Filling, and lastly Sponge Cake again. Top with strawberry fruit if necessary.
As for the first week , we are doing an experiment to determine the most suitable type of milk to be used for making the Soursop pudding.
There were two type of milk that we use, which is Coconut Milk and Fresh Milk.
