Soursop Pudding - Experiment Week 2

Assalamualaikum :)

On the 10th March 2011, the second experiment of our product ; Soursop Pudding are organized smoothly. At this second week, from the timeline that we do, we planned to do an experiment on the pudding itself. We are also given an idea by Chef Zaid to make the Soursop Pudding stands on a plate.
As for this week, we will do an experiment by changing the Hoen Kwe flour to Custard ;

Ingredient
A
* Sponge Cake
* Soursop
B
* Coconut Milk
* Sugar
* Evaporated Milk
* Instant Agar-Agar
* Hoen Kwe Flour ----- Custard



The methods are ;
Agar-agar
1.      Soak agar-agar in water for about 10 minutes, meanwhile boil water in a saucepan.
2.      After boiling, put in agar-agar.
3.      Let the agar-agar dissolve and disintegrate in water.
4.      Divide the agar-agar into two ; for Soursop and base of the pudding(strawberry flavor).
Soursop
1.      Peel and cut the ripe Soursop.
2.      Blend in a blender.
3.      Combine the agar-agar and the Soursop together.
Hoen Kwe Flour
1.      Prepare Hoen Kwe Flour in a bowl with water.
2.      At the same time, boil the coconut milk in a saucepan.
3.      Pour the Hoen Kwe Flour into the saucepan.
4.      Mix well.  Add some sugar to taste.
5.      Mix until become thick.
Structure of pudding ;
1.      Pour the  Strawberry Flavored Agar-agar, then layer with Sponge Cake,  Hoen Kwe Pudding, Soursop Agar-agar and lastly Chocolate Sponge Cake.
2.      if flip over, the structure are the reverse of the earlier order.

Making Custard ; Custard + Coconut Milk
Let the custard become thick
Let it cold for about 15minutes.

Put in agar-agar to shape up the structure


Let it chill in the chiller for about 15 minutes.

Remove from the ramkin.

Final Result ;
